Camino Part 2 is on hold for now

Unfortunately we have just been informed the route we planned is not safe currently. Heavy rains since the new year have left much of the route flooded and impassable. This has meant we have been forced to cancel accommodation and flights…. A loss of around £500

We are currently looking for an alternative route somewhere to enable us to do the distance we committed to you

We are doing this to raise money for “Wateraid” . If you are interested you can find our Justgiving account at

https://walkforwater.wateraid.org/fundraising/peters-fundraising-page76?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=dssb-CL&utm_content=MPC

Please give generously if you can and by all means please share with anyone who you may think is interested

Val and I will endeavour to update this on a daily basis with news and pictures of the walk. This will be subject to internet coverage.

Val had spent alot of time planning our route and booking accomodation. She did a grand job when we did Part 1 of the Portuguese Camino. Because of the flooding and weather we will probably complete this in May 2027

A big thank you go to Chris and Alice; Lizzie, James and William in York; Norfolk Neighbourhood Watch; James Windle in Hatfield; Joy in Costessey; The Hardwicks at No 7 in Costessey; Barry and Ness at No 8 in Costessey; P & G in Horsford; Malcolm and Eileen Creese in Bury St Edmunds and The Walkers!!! Thank you all so much.

Raised so far £202.
