This morning I lost my rag a little as an unknown car pulled up outside a house opposite to us. I woman got out and went to one of the houses and as she approached to the house I called….. “They’re not in. Do you live there? No!! Don’t you know the social distancing rule”Continue reading “Social distancing??!!”

A six mile walk on a sunny day in Costessey
What a glorious day it has been….. so far. Val and I missed our walk yesterday for various reasons and so we were determined to get out and stretch our legs. Val had found a circular walk on a local website but it was a bit vague and so I used Viewranger (now outdooractive)Continue reading “A six mile walk on a sunny day in Costessey”
April 7th Trespassing walk
Today I picked up something I’ve been coveting for absolutely ages. An electric Brompton in a metallic blue. It was a strange process. Not too go into too much detail I bought this the day before Boris closed all three shops and having paid the best part of £3000 I couldn’t collect it!!! How frustratingContinue reading “April 7th Trespassing walk”

On Tuesday of last week the department of Justice sent her home and she’s been working even more conscientiously than usual since then.
2019 06 : Watkin path up Snowdon, Llanberis down. A serious walk.
This walk started as a glorious bright but damp day. Val and I decided to do this route up to the peak of Snowdon because it was reported as the hardest and we though we should give it a go. We got about half way up before the mist came down on us and itContinue reading “2019 06 : Watkin path up Snowdon, Llanberis down. A serious walk.”
2014-07-07 The Tour de France prepares to leave Cambridge (Stage 3)
This morning I drove into Cambridge and parked at the Park and Ride on Newmarket Road. The bus didn’t go to its usual stop as much of the City was closed off for the start of the race and we were dropped on Maids Causeway, a small walk from Parkers Piece where “The Tour” wasContinue reading “2014-07-07 The Tour de France prepares to leave Cambridge (Stage 3)”
