Shanghai and the Chinese Grand Prix
I’m sitting in my dressing gown watching the BBC’s transmission from China. They do it so well. Its the first times Mercedes has had the front row of the grid and Pole for over 50 years. I would like to see Michael Schumacher win again, but Rosberg who has pole deserves the race.
Dinner with Neighbours
We had dinner at Liz and Pete Gidlows this evening. Peter and Carol were also there, so as a 6 we had a good mix. As you know I had a molar out earlier in the day and had a nap in the afternoon but felt well enough to go to dinner, if I wasContinue reading “Dinner with Neighbours”
The last molar

I only have one appointment today in Newmarket and so I will busy myself with the dogs and housework. Anna came home and announced she is on holiday for two weeks and so IContinue reading “Monday 5th March”
My Car died
My Toyota Previa which I bought in June 2002 died today. I had had what I thought was a little problem, when I tried to start it the oil light wouldn’t go out, so being cautious I rang the AA. They sent a recovery vehicle and Nigel (the AA man) decided he needed to recoverContinue reading “My Car died”
2011 12 14 David is 60 today
Today is the 60th birthday of a very dear friend, David Garrett, who I have known since I was 10. We met at school and have stayed in touch for 50 years. Quite an achievement. A lovely man who has always done what is right. I am proud to have known him.
