My sisters 65th birthday
Christine will be 65 (tomorrow) but I had arranged for a card from Moonpig to arrive, either today, or latest tomorrow. I thought she would be pleased to get a card from me but I think she was upset as she rang the house and spoke to Anna in a very aggressive way (I understand)Continue reading “My sisters 65th birthday”
Monday 5th March
Today looks like being a slow day. The weather is better than yesterday, when we had heavy snow in the afternoon. I only have one appointment today in Newmarket and so I will busy myself with the dogs and housework. Anna came home and announced she is on holiday for two weeks and so IContinue reading “Monday 5th March”

2011 12 14 David is 60 today
Today is the 60th birthday of a very dear friend, David Garrett, who I have known since I was 10. We met at school and have stayed in touch for 50 years. Quite an achievement. A lovely man who has always done what is right. I am proud to have known him.

A Good Walk
Bad backs
Today I am laid up with a bad back. I am supposed to work today but am in considerable pain. I really need to eat but can’t face getting out of bed. I hope it clears up soon
Logs
My departing neighbour popped over and invited me to take the logs he had stacked outside and in his garage. Terrific. Enough to see us through the winter.
Jack
Our neighbour, Jack seems to be moving today. He hasn’t told us anything so its all a bit of a mystery. Removal vans are blocking our driveway but the driver assures me he will move when I need to leave for work. Lets hope he keeps to that.
Walking with Berkley and Lomu
The dogs and I walked this morning. It was a bit chilly but I spent the time listening to Stephen King (Duma Quay) on my iPod It would have been my Mums birthday today. God bless her. I sadly miss her
