My afternoon walk

The wanderings of Peter and Valerie Ball

Wouldn’t it be nice if the phone providers lifted the mist from when they intend to release Androids Ice Cream Sandwich. I keep logging onto Kies and nothing…… 3 have apparently released it ages ago. Why can’t the others? Are they just less efficient? It is very frustrating and if I were nearer to a 3 cell I would move as soon as my contract with Tesco runs out.

I am heading to PE37 7SN to see a solar panel installation this morning. It was a good install
Samson (Mr Ben 10 and my step grandson (I think thats right)) is 5 today and I think in Athens with the family. I find myself wishing I were there to give him a hug and share having his 5th birthday. I sort of remember being 5 but most of it I seem to have blocked out, probably due to the unhappiness and tension in our house. I could ramble on about that but this probably isn’t the time or place, so
I am sitting in our kitchen looking out at the bird feeders and am amazed how beautiful it is. The sky is crystal clear and a lovely blue,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but the lawn is white with frost and my phone tells me it is just above freezing, and as I type that the boiler kicks in to burn even more oils and pump warmth around the house.
More later
I’m sitting in my dressing gown watching the BBC’s transmission from China. They do it so well. Its the first times Mercedes has had the front row of the grid and Pole for over 50 years. I would like to see Michael Schumacher win again, but Rosberg who has pole deserves the race.
We had dinner at Liz and Pete Gidlows this evening. Peter and Carol were also there, so as a 6 we had a good mix. As you know I had a molar out earlier in the day and had a nap in the afternoon but felt well enough to go to dinner, if I was a little subdued. Pete and Carol were on good form and we had a lovely meal. Angie and I left at around 11.00 as we felt we should come home and see the dogs.
